My dream import. And not only is it here, but it's here and local. Who cares that it would literally require at least 3x the amount of money I have to spend, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

"definitely a neck breaker." Needs new headrests?
![]() 10/12/2013 at 22:00 |

Absolutely. But you know what, I don't care. I'd still kiss his/her feet for bringing it over.

JDM headrests are meant to break your neck. That way you can feel the mad skidz you are about to encounter.

Send it to graverobber!

No, cuz then all the Jalops will see it and I won't have enough time to convince my parents of why a kid needs this car.

Sorry I just bought it...just kidding.

If you start a Kickstarter to buy that, Ill throw in $100.

lol, I did the exact same thing just then. Yay for JDM imports in New Zealand!

It can be like an Oppo zipcar that just lives in my garage. Everytime I bring it somewhere, I'll just leave it there for the next Opponaut to find, use, and then do the same.

hey just so you know, if you're seriously looking for a Pulsar and this one goes, New England Barn Finds (last I checked) had 3 GTiRs available for sale. It's just this dude who sells weird imports in his spare time, everything looks like a barn find but they're completely legalized and can drive in the US. They have a facebook page, look em up

would look much better with neon green or orange dip if I'm honest
![]() 10/13/2013 at 00:11 |

The wheels should be orange, not blue.
![]() 10/13/2013 at 00:17 |

How about nothing? Yeah, that would be much better.
![]() 10/13/2013 at 01:09 |

"Completely Legalized," huh? if it's a GTiR and it's under 25 years old, it's State Legal. No more than that. Customs can still come and take it away.
By all means, prove me wrong, but from the research I've done, this appears to be true.

BUY IT. BUY IT FOR GLORY.

Thought the very same thing! Went to go look at a skyline r33 he had and he showed me the registration. Asked about the red gtir and he told me that the pulsar can claim exception by falling under the NX. He had tons of 90s JDM metal all with valid registrations. I didn't pry too deep into how he did it

You are a legend.
Where are you? Presumably not the US.

I'll be lurking there for the rest of my life, so thank you. It does seem a little bit fishy, but I ain't even care.
This one is probably from there, considering its on my local List of Craig and I'm in New England. And how many could there possibly be just sitting around here, especially with our horrible car climate.
![]() 10/13/2013 at 11:25 |

yeah, it wasn't a very professional outfit, more like some crazy Jalop out in the middle of barn country just buying imports and getting them licensed and registered and keeping em around barely advertising them silently hoping no one actually wanted them so he could hold on to them.
He's probably a humble billionaire for all I know lol

Im currently in Germany, gonna see if when im done here i can take it to the states and just garage it for a few years till it hits that magic 25 year mark

Some day you must upload pictures.
Is it as good as everyone says it is? I've always been in love with the whole package, but have no idea whatsoever of how it drives/feels.

Also i paid $3500 and its in pretty decent shape

Registered and insured means nothing. the state doesn't give a shit what you insure so long as they're paid their money regarding it. Does a Pulsar GTiR look like an NX to you? He might register it as one, but they're not the same car. That's akin to the people who have a "240SX" that looks a lot like an R33...

well mine has a little more power than stock, and let me tell you this car is quick. also has real good grip. i took off trying to spin the tires, not giving it everything put it just took off without a squeal. way faster than my merkur back home

dude I don't know what to tell you. The guy guarantees that they're legal to own and operate in the US and under general use and not show and display. And when I asked about the Pulsar he said it was legalized via Pulsar NX information. Outside of that I don't know. Maybe it's one of the special exempt vehicles? (like the April 96-June 98 R33s or the 2002 Audi S3 or the 07 Audi RS6?) I don't know
